January 19, 2026: MLK Day in Morristown
The Diversity Coalition of Morris County proudly supported the Visual Arts Contest in Morristown. The Middle School winners are shown below with co-sponsors Jennifer Jones from the MLK Observance Committee and Beverly Tignor from the DCMC, as well as their parents and art teachers. The first place winner is Shriya Raghaven from William Annin Middle School, and teacher Fiona Weiss. The second place winner is Alexander Leong from Ridgedale Middle School, and teacher Jessica Bulleit.

You are invited to our Multicultural Online Cooking Class!
Classes are FREE, Registration is required.

VIRTUAL COOKING CLASSES
Each virtual cooking class features a different cultural recipe demonstrated by friends and members of the DCMC food committee.
The classes will be about 45 minutes and there will be a moderator so that everyone can ask questions and follow along at home.

MULTICULTURAL CHILDREN'S BOOKS & READING TIME!
During the pandemic, the Diversity Coalition of Morris County offered an online reading class that featured a variety of multicultural children’s books and films that were viewed and discussed virtually via FREE online readings and animations. The Children’s Book Series explored short stories created for an audience between the ages of 5 – 12 years but the conversations sparked conversations between the entire family.
